It's a family run bed and breakfast with personal attention from Goran, the proprietor. The room was a bit small, but we had a nice balcony. The breakfast was excellent. Quite a distance from the old city, so you would probably want to take a bus or taxi back if you walked there.

Very friendly, helpful and informative owner, everybody likes him, he is the hero of Zadar. Great instructions were given by him about the surronding area. Location of the Pansion is ideal for visiting the old town and still very nice and quiet. Pleasant breakfast area.

Really enjoyed staying there, I would be happy to recommend the hotel. The venue was wonderful with excellant location next to quiet residential area, Kornati island, Plitvicka Jezera National Park and, and Zadar, Croatia.
Nothing it was perfect!

Very friendly and helpful owner - very welcoming and he also organised our excursion to Plotvicze Lakes which went very well. Room was excellent - clean, comfortable and with air conditioning and very nice breakfast each morning.
Although in a pleasant residential area, was rather a long way from the old town.

The best aspect of Pansion Maria was definitely the staff, all of whom were very friendly and helpful. They offered honest advice about the best places to visit and always took the time to answer all of our questions fully. Although Pansion Maria is not right in the centre of town, it is only 20 mins walk from the centre and 20 mins from the beach and in a nice, quiet suburban setting which felt safe walking back to at night. The breakfast was also very nice!
The only slight complaint was that the rooms were very hot, with just one small fan to cool the room down, but it is just a small gripe!
